This was interesting to say the least! Very clean swap as well. Spotted in Ohio.

Usually I hate LS swaps. . .but this made me giggle.

Snap oversteer ALL THE TURNS!

I thought it was quite cool. Fast too. And more reliable, it was originally a Turbo model. Owner sold the motor

I'd be on the fence with this if it was a non-slanty-faced Porsche. With it being a slantnose, I have to say no.

Where in Ohio was this abomination spotted?
I am in Ohio. I shall hunt it down for you all.

It's in Columbus, but you'd have to catch it first :)

Meh, it's his car, his money.

Usually I wouldn't mind this, but come on man, this is a fucking 930 turbo! Couldn't you find a 964 to use instead?
![]() 08/27/2013 at 19:41 |

IIRC it's a track car, and more reliable

911s are very reliable, I had a 78 and I have a 74 now. You can't replace the sound of an air cooled flat six on a mountain road. Rubbish that is.

Not if you have a weapon with a long enough range.

Assuming that wasn't the Turbo, right?
That's what this car originally was.

I have a 934 that had a blown engine, now with a turbo.

Why all the LS Hate?

Its about destroying a Porsche, Try to start this conversation with real drivers, not red necks. Its doesn't belong there, its wrong on so many levels.

I'm not quite seeing how its been "destroyed".
The LS motor is much more powerful, simpler, and more reliable.
It's much quicker than it could've ever been with the 6 cylinder. But I get what you're saying.
It's all about heritage

Whenever my 996 engine gives up the ghost, I'll be faced with a choice:
1) 30 large for the 330 HP I already have
2) 7 large for 400 HP and almost no weight hit
I may have ridden the bus to school, but it wasn't short.

Makes perfect sense
